Bournemouth teenager charged with attempted murder

A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the town.

The 35-year-old needed hospital treatment after he was attacked at 05:10 BST on 4 April.

The teenager is also charged with possession of an imitation firearm. He is due to appear at Bournemouth Youth Court on 10 April.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw any "suspicious activity" in Undercliff Drive, East Beach, to contact them.
