Two children injured in Bournemouth hit-and-run

Two young children have been injured in a hit-and-run.

The children, aged seven and four, were hurt when they were struck by a red VW Polo in Bournemouth earlier.

The older child suffered internal injuries and the younger sustained grazes. Both were taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.

Police believe the car which failed to stop at the scene of the crash in Wimborne Road, Kinson, at about 17:10 GMT, has a T or V registration.
