Linda Lietaviete: Alvin Santos appears on murder charge

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenage girl found fatally stabbed near a Bournemouth flyover.

The body of Linda Lietaviete, 16, was discovered by paramedics at Horseshoe Common early on Friday.

Alvin Santos, 25, from Bournemouth, appeared at Winchester Crown Court and was remanded in custody to appear there again on 28 February.

Linda, who was originally from Latvia, was a business administration student.
