Teenage driver 'critical' after Blandford crash

A driver who was flown to hospital after a crash in Dorset is in a "critical condition".

The crash involving a Renault 5 and a Vauxhall Corsa happened near Blandford, on the B3082 Wimborne Road, near Ashley Wood Golf Club at about 09:30 GMT.

An air ambulance took the 17-year-old Renault driver to hospital in a critical condition, police said.

The Vauxhall driver and passengers from both vehicles were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
