Andrew Young death in Bournemouth: Sutton man remanded in custody

A man has been remanded in custody by Bournemouth magistrates after being charged over a fatal attack outside a supermarket.

Andrew Young, 40, suffered a head injury outside a Tesco Express store in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, on Wednesday and died later in hospital.

Lewis Gill, 20, from Ridge Road, Sutton, was charged with manslaughter.

He will next appear at Winchester Crown Court on 19 November when he will enter his plea.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 15:30 GMT on Wednesday.
