Bournemouth Airport says fortunes are rising

3 July 2013 Last updated at 19:44 BST

After several years of falling passenger numbers, Bournemouth airport has said its use is rising again.

It invested £45m in a new terminal just as the economic downturn began to bite, and passenger numbers fell sharply.

A programme of cost cutting and job losses followed.

The airport now says it is "returning to growth" with Ryanair announcing it is to continue flying from Bournemouth all year round after withdrawing flights for the past three winters.
