A man has appeared in court charged with manslaughter over the death of a man in Dorset more than 12 years ago.

Clive Wilcox, 42, of Moordown, died in hospital after being attacked as he left a One Stop store in Winton in May 2001.

Daniel Scott, 33, formerly of Bournemouth, was remanded in custody when he appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court earlier.

He is to appear at either Winchester or Bournemouth Crown Court on 24 June.
