Sunseeker yacht factory damaged by fire

It is thought the blaze at the boatbuilders involved an extraction fan

A boatbuilding factory in Dorset has been damaged by fire.

Crews were called to the the Sunseeker luxury yacht factory in Poole shortly before 12:00 GMT.

About 10 firefighters tackled the blaze at the building in New Quay Road. Sunseeker said no-one had been injured in the incident.

Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved an extractor fan on the outside of the building but the cause was under investigation.
