Customer robbed at NatWest bank counter in Poole

A man has been robbed inside a Dorset bank while he was depositing money.

The 37-year-old was at the counter in NatWest in High Street, Poole, on Tuesday, 28 August when two men barged him aside and grabbed his cash.

He chased the men but was attacked and suffered a broken finger and bruising. The robbers escaped in a black Lexus that was later found abandoned.

One suspect was black and wore a tie and cardigan, the other was white and wore a t-shirt, hooded top and jeans.

Dorset Police said the incident happened between 14:00 and 14:45 BST at the branch on the junction of Kingland Road.

Detectives have released CCTV of the suspects and are appealing for information.
