Climber who died after Dancing Ledge cliff fall named

A climber who died after falling from a cliff on the Dorset coast has been identified by police.

Christopher Martin, 32, from Cheshire, was with his girlfriend when he fell from Dancing Ledge, near Langton Matravers, Swanage, on Thursday.

He died from his injuries at Dorset County Hospital having been airlifted by the Portland Coastguard.

An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned at Dorchester Coroner's Court on Friday.
