London 2012: Weymouth sailing picnic and chairs ban
Spectators at the Olympic sailing and windsurfing events at Weymouth face sitting on a grass bank with just a rug due to security restrictions.
Ticket-holders for the Nothe Fort viewing area have been told fold-up chairs and cool boxes are banned and are being encouraged to only bring a rug, a small bag and a small snack.
Locog has said the measures are in place for health and safety reasons, and a limited number of fixed seats will be available for those who most require them.
