Olympic torch: Charity adventurer David Wheeler on being torchbearer
David Clark Wheeler works for the housing department of Bournemouth Borough Council and has developed a reputation for taking on strange or daredevil challenges for charity.
He has abseiled a building and bungee jumped from a hot air balloon. He is also happy to shave his eyebrows, as long as it is for a good cause.
David even wrote a children's book called We Can Do Anything!
On Saturday morning he will carry the torch through Boscombe in Bournemouth and will encourage people to donate to Julia's House, which is a hospice in Poole for children with life-limiting conditions.
