Businesses in Weymouth have reported a decline in trade since Condor Ferries moved its Channel Island sailings to Poole.
The company is planning to return to the Dorset town when repairs to the crumbling ferry terminal there have been completed.
Meanwhile, business is booming for some Poole traders, who have benefited from the temporary change in the ferry route.
