Motorcyclist dies from injuries after A31 Ferndown crash

A motorcyclist involved in a crash with a car in Dorset has died from his injuries in hospital.

The 54-year-old was riding a Honda CBF 1000 which was in collision with a Peugeot 206 on the A31 Ferndown on Tuesday morning.

He was taken to Poole hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Dorset Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either of the vehicles before the crash, which occurred at 07:15 GMT.

The motorcycle was travelling from Canford Bottom roundabout towards Ferndown when it was in collision with the Peugeot, which came from Uddens Drive.
