London 2012: Dorset coastal path opened
A pathway has been opened near the 2012 Olympic sailing venue as part of a project to create an England-wide coastal path.
The 20mile (32km) route along part of the Dorset coast will start at Rufus Castle in Portland and end at Lulworth Cove.
The path boasts views of the site of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing events, which will take place in Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour.
However, from mid July to mid September, two sections of the path in the Weymouth Bay area will be closed for security reasons.
