Work to build new cycle paths in a Dorset town has begun.

The project aims to make Druitt Gardens behind the High Street in Christchurch more accessible.

It will include a set of sculptures on dead trees created by chainsaw sculptor Richard Austin in collaboration with students from local schools.

Lighting columns and seating areas will also be installed as a part of the project. Work is due to be completed by the end of March.
