Thomas Hardye School in India Olympic competition

Help

Pupils at a school in Dorset have been competing in a series of sports events against pupils at a school in India.

Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester has been twinned with The Doon School, in the foothills of the Himalayas, in the build up to the 2012 Olympics.

It is part of World Class, a BBC campaign which aims to help pupils learn about different cultures and explore the Olympic ideals.

So far pupils have competed in basketball and swimming challenges.
