Clifftop memorial planned in honour of Red Arrows pilot
Plans for a permanent memorial in honour of Red Arrows pilot, Flt Lt Jon Egging, on Bournemouth's East Cliff have been revealed.
School children from Bournemouth will be asked to submit designs for the memorial to the Red Arrows pilot who died during the town's annual air show last month.
The design of the memorial will be decided by Flt Lt Egging's family. The borough council is planning to have it in place by next year's air festival in August.
