Dog rescued in 100ft Dorset cliff fall

A dog has been rescued by coastguard officers after falling 100ft (30m) down a cliff in Dorset.

The animal was being walked by its owners from Southampton when it fell at Rope Lake Head, between Kimmeridge and St Albans Head, on Friday.

Rescuers recovered the border collie, called Chase, which had a broken leg and was suffering from shock.

Chase was reunited with its owners before being taken to a nearby veterinary hospital for treatment.
