Further 11 people arrested over Bournemouth drugs raids

Police officer Twelve men were arrested during the first series of raids in Bournemouth

A further 11 people have been arrested in a second day of drugs raids aimed at stopping dealers across Bournemouth.

Three addresses were searched in Boscombe and Lansdowne with stolen goods, money and drugs seized.

Nine men, aged between 23 and 44, and two women, aged 23 and 37, have been held on suspicion of drugs offences.

It comes after 11 homes were raided on Wednesday across the town with 12 men arrested. Eight of these have now been charged with drugs offences.

The remaining four are still helping police with their inquiries.

As part of the operation, social services attended an address and took away a child after concerns were raised about welfare issues.
