Low cloud has curtailed the flying displays on the third day of the annual Bournemouth Air Show, which attracted 1.3 million people last year.

Organisers said one Black Cat helicopter and a beach assault by the Royal Marines took place on Saturday.

They are hoping the weather for the last day of the four-day event, which began on Thursday, will be "better".

The seafront festival, now in its fourth year, also boasts displays from the RAF and The Red Arrows.
