Firefighters tackle heath blaze in Dorset

Firefighters have been tackling a major heath fire in Dorset.

Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the blaze at Colinwood Corner in Swainson Road, Tarrant Hinton, at 1223 BST.

When the three fire crews arrived they found about 14 acres of stubble and undergrowth were alight, a spokeswoman said. A tractor was also ablaze.

She added that firefighters believe the blaze was triggered by farming equipment.
