Three people have been rescued from a boat which hit a breakwater and started to sink.

The Lady Larissa crashed into the structure in Plymouth Sound, in Devon, at about 23:50 BST on Monday.

It lost its steering and started to take on water, Brixham Coastguard said.

The sailing vessel was towed by lifeboat to the city's Mayflower Marina for repairs. No-one was injured and the reason for the crash is not known, coastguards added.
