Two men have been airlifted from a festival site after they were injured by a fallen truck.

The men were hurt during the clear up of the Beautiful Days festival, at Escot Park, near Honiton.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received reports two men were trapped underneath a telehandler, similar to a fork-lift truck.

One suffered head injuries and the other had a broken leg and both were flown to Plymouth's Derriford Hospital.

It is unclear how the truck fell over.

Ambulance crews were called to the site of the festival - which ended on Sunday - at about 11:30 BST.

The fire service said crews confirmed the men were injured but not trapped under the vehicle.
