Woman dies after collision with cyclist in Exeter

An elderly woman has died after a collision with a cyclist in Exeter.

The crash happened in Sidwell Street, Exeter, on Friday 11 July at about 16.15pm BST.

Police said the woman, thought to be 87-years-old and from the Crediton area, suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital for treatment, where she died on Saturday 12 July.

The cyclist suffered minor injuries.
