PC Sarah Cohen PC Sarah Cohen pleaded not guilty to four charges

A police officer has denied charges of misconduct in public office and committing acts with intent to pervert the course of justice.

PC Sarah Cohen, of Station Road, Lifton, Devon, appeared before a judge at Exeter Crown Court.

The 36-year-old Devon and Cornwall police officer pleaded not guilty to four charges.

She was bailed and the case adjourned. The charges relate to alleged incidents in Devon in November 2011.

The officer faces two charges of intending to pervert the course of justice and two of wilfully neglecting her duty.
