Police are investigating an allegation of fraud in connection with a fund set up in memory of a girl who died at a youth club in Exeter.

Nicole Hartup, 12, fell off a wall at the Phoenix Youth Club on 23 May while watching a football game.

It is believed she hit her head in the fall.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed they were carrying out an investigation in relation to the Nicole Hartup Fund and "inquiries are continuing".

Miss Hartup was a student at Isca College of Media Arts in Exeter.
