A 45-year-old woman killed in a car crash in Devon has been named as Melissa Williamson from Axminster.

Mrs Williamson, who was known as Lisa, died in hospital after a two-car collision on the B3261 near Bow Bridge on Wednesday.

The driver of the other vehicle - a 56-year-old woman, also from Axminster, is in a critical condition at Bristol's Frenchay Hospital.

Peter Williamson said his wife brought joy to everyone she met.

She would be sorely missed, he added.

Devon and Cornwall Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
