A woman had part of her finger bitten off and a man was bitten on the face in an attack outside a Plymouth club.

The woman, aged 44, and the man, aged 26, were attacked outside a social club on Ker Street, Devonport, at about 23:20 GMT on Friday.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said the pair had been involved in a disagreement inside. Both were taken to hospital for treatment.

He said officers wanted to talk to a teenage male about the assaults.

The boy has been described as aged 16 or 17, 5ft 6ins (1.70m) tall, of stocky build with short, mousey brown hair and wearing a white top and jeans.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the attacks to get in touch.
