Cannabis haul worth £250k seized from Exeter warehouse

About 200 cannabis plants worth an estimated £250,000 have been seized from a warehouse in Exeter.

A police dog handler on a training exercise in the Marsh Barton area is said to have been alerted by the smell coming from the building.

The plants, which were about 6ft (1.8m) tall, were seized on Saturday.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and released on bail. Officers also seized £1,000 in cash and a weapon.
