Teenagers sought after Barnstaple shopping centre fire

Five teenagers are being sought by police after a shop fire in Devon.

Officers said they wished to talk to the 14 to 16-year-olds after a shelf with pet food caught fire in the Wilkinson store in Barnstaple at about 16:20 GMT on Saturday.

A female member of staff contained the small fire in Green Lanes Shopping Centre with an extinguisher and no-one was injured, they added.

Officers said the incident could have been "potentially serious".
