A man carrying a knife has robbed a Co-op store in Axminster, police said.

The man entered the shop in South Street, Axminster, just after 21:00 GMT on Saturday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

He got away with a bottle of vodka and cigarettes.

Police are searching for a man in a grey hooded top and dark tracksuit trousers. He may have been seen nearby with a vodka bottle, officers said.
