Murder suspect arrested after woman's body found

A man has been arrested after a woman's body was discovered at a house in Plymouth.

The 36-year-old victim, who has not been named, was found at a property in Tailyour Road, in the Crownhill area of the city at about 09:45 GMT.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held in custody.

Det Insp Jonathan Phillips said the circumstances surrounding the woman's death were being investigated.
