Man arrested after Exmouth firearm reports

A man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary after police were called to reports of a man with a suspected firearm in east Devon.

Armed officers, dog handlers and a police helicopter attended the Dinanway Park area of Exmouth at about 19:45 BST on Saturday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they received a "number of reports from members of the public".

There were no reports of any injuries.
