North Tawton money laundering suspects arrested

A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering in Devon.

The 60-year-old man and the woman, 43, were arrested in North Tawton on Tuesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The pair were also arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence, following the discovery of unlicensed ammunition during a search.

A police spokesman said the suspects have been released on police bail until 11 March 2014.

Officers from the serious organised crime branch and the force support group were involved in the operation.
