A Polish woman who went missing shortly after arriving in the UK is the focus of a hunt by Devon and Cornwall Police.

Magdalena Krawiec, 20, has not been seen since 20:00 BST on 13 May after going to work at the Blue Seafood Company in Paignton.

She had returned to the UK the day before, having previously worked at the seafood company.

Officers investigating her disappearance said they were "very concerned".

Acting Superintendent Nikki Leaper, Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "It's out of character.

"We've spoken to family and friends, it's not like her, it's been a week with no sighting.

"We are very concerned, she is potentially vulnerable."

She said Ms Krawiec, who is 5'10" (1.8m), had some knowledge of the local area and was wearing grey tight-fitting jeans or leggings and a black top when she went missing.

Dartmoor Rescue and Brixham Coastguard have been helping police in the search for Ms Krawiec.

The Blue Seafood Company, based in Paignton Harbour, catches and processes crab.
