Honiton house fire: Toddler and two teenagers die

A three-year-old boy and two teenagers injured in a fire in Devon on Friday have died of their injuries.

The toddler, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man were among five people injured in the fire at Lee Close in Honiton.

The three-year-old died at a burns unit at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.

A six-year-old boy and a 36-year-old man were treated in hospital for the effects of breathing in smoke, but were later discharged.

The fire is not thought to be suspicious.

Eight people were in the house - seven members of a family and another person - when the fire broke out just before 08:00 BST.

Devon and Cornwall Police said next of kin had been informed.

The two teenagers died earlier at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
