About 160 police officers have attended a Devon football derby in Plymouth, to prevent trouble.

The officers and eight horses were at the match between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City, which had the highest risk rating for a football game.

More than 20 people were arrested when the teams met in 2010, when violence broke out in the stands during the game at the Home Park stadium.

No arrests have so far been announced by Devon and Cornwall Police.

Before the match, Supt Chris Eastwood said those causing trouble would be dealt with "robustly".
