Meat cleaver robbery: Braunton man admits part in raid

A man has admitted being involved in an armed robbery in which a meat cleaver was used as a weapon.

Jamie Latta, 27, pleaded guilty to being involved in the raid at Knowle Garage, in Braunton, in Devon.

Latta, who is from the town but has no fixed abode, admitted robbery and an unrelated theft and assault, at Exeter Crown Court.

A man and woman from Holsworthy also appeared in court accused of being involved in the robbery in November.
