Exeter man charged with attempted murder over knife attack

A man has been charged with the attempted murder of a 25-year-old man who was stabbed in the neck and head.

Sean Hills, 25, from Geneva Court, Exeter, was arrested on Saturday following an incident at about 04:00 GMT on Thursday at Geneva Court.

Police said the wounded 25-year-old was treated at hospital and released.

A 23-year-old man, arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on bail until 14 May while investigations continue.

Mr Hills appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Monday where he was remanded into custody.

He is due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on 5 March.
