Plymouth body post-mortem tests spark murder inquiry

A post-mortem examination carried out on a 76-year-old man has revealed his death was suspicious.

Michael Brincat, from Marlborough House on Granby Way in Plymouth, was found dead at the property on Thursday by Devon and Cornwall Police.

Prior to the tests, carried out on Monday, Mr Brincat's death had been treated as "unexplained".

Officers from the force have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.
