River Torridge marina plans rejected
Plans for a 250-berth marina on the River Torridge in Devon have been rejected.
Developer LTPH also wanted to build about 300 houses and a care home in the Coastal Preservation Area between Appledore and Northam.
Torridge District Council Plans Committee voted five to four in favour of rejection after complaints about its effect on the environment.
LTPH has not so far commented on the decision.
