Plymouth teenager, 17, stabbed in chest

A teenager has undergone surgery after being stabbed in the chest during an incident in Devon, police have said.

The 17-year-old was stabbed outside Co-op near George Street in the Mount Wise area of Plymouth at about 20:00 GMT on Saturday.

Police said the boy had been injured during an altercation involving about five people.

Three men, two aged 22 and one aged 21, were arrested and have been released on bail until 26 March.
