Marazion's Desmond Barnes, 84, died of natural causes in crash

An 84-year-old man who died after the car he was driving left the road and crashed into a hedge, died of natural causes, it is believed.

Desmond Barnes, of Marazion, died after his car left the road at Newtown roundabout on the A30 on 28 December.

Devon and Cornwall Police said he was found unconscious and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A spokesman said it was believed he had died from natural causes. Anyone with information is urged to contact them.
