A man has denied killing a young mother in her Devon home while her 22-month-old daughter was in the house.

Adam Singer, 28, of Glendale Crescent, Salisbury appeared at Plymouth Crown Court charged with one count of murder.

He is accused of killing Sally Ann Harrison, 24, at her home in Vaagso Close, Devonport in April. Her daughter was not harmed.

Mr Singer entered a plea of not guilty and will stand trial at the city's crown court next April.
