Clovelly remembers herring history

A north Devon village has been celebrating its tradition of fishing for herring.

During the 18th and 19th Centuries more than 100 boats operated out of Clovelly, landing catches of thousands of herring.

However, in recent years just two fisherman, including harbour master Stephen Perham, work in the business.

The Clovelly Herring Festival celebrated and served up a variety of herring specialities.
