A BBC Radio Devon motor rally has raised more than £1,000 for charity.

The event, which was held on Plymouth Hoe in June, showcased a variety of classic vehicles.

The rally raised £1,113 for the BBC charity Children in Need. The money will support disadvantaged children and young people in Devon.

Radio presenter David Fitzgerald and his AC Cobra attended the rally.

Currently, Children in Need funds 34 projects across the South West of England.

Last year, the event raised hundred of pounds for the Devon Air Ambulance Appeal.
