Andrew Cane is due to appear in court in Exeter
A man has been charged with the murder of his mother in Devon.
Andrew Cane, 30, was arrested in the Gloucester area in the early hours of Saturday.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said he was due to appear in custody at Exeter Magistrates' Court later.
The body of his mother, 63-year-old Linda Sheard, was found at a property in the Brixington area of Exmouth on Wednesday.
