Ex Okehampton foster carer David Knight on sex charges

A former foster carer from Devon has appeared in court charged with sexual offences against boys.

The alleged offences took place in Okehampton and Crediton between 1998 and 2006 and involved an 11-year-old boy and two boys under the age of 14.

David Knight, 55, of Station Road, Okehampton, made no plea at Exeter Crown Court.

Judge Graham Cottle adjourned the case until 22 June and released Mr Knight on conditional bail.

The offences Mr Knight has been accused of include gross indecency, rape, sexual touching and causing a minor to engage in sexual activity.
