Driver killed in A374 car crash

A woman has died and another is critically injured after their car left a road in Cornwall on Saturday.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash at about 08:15 GMT on Sunday on the A374 at Sheviock near Torpoint.

One of the women was pronounced dead at the scene while the other is in a critical condition at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

Flowers have been left at the scene alongside the road which was temporarily closed by police.
